When shoe soles arrive at your factory, you need to know what is in each carton and how many pairs you have received. Here is how Tread Soles packs samples and identifies bulk shipments, and what to tell us if you have special requirements.
How Are Shoe Sole Samples Packed?
We pack the samples in a carton and cover it with a woven bag for shipping. Before dispatch, we send you a photo of the packed carton for confirmation, so you know what to expect. If you have a shipping mark or other information for the package, send it to us and we will attach it.

How Can I Check the Sizes and Quantities in Each Carton?
For bulk orders, we attach a label to the outside of each carton. It identifies the product model, colors and sizes inside, along with the number of pairs for each size and color.
Before shipment, we provide a packing list. When the goods arrive, your team can use it together with the carton labels to check the number of cartons and the quantities by model, size and color. If you have any questions when checking your shipment, contact us and we will assist you.
Can You Add Our Shipping Marks?
Yes. If you need shipping marks or other information on the package, send us the details or your label template before dispatch. We will confirm the required information and placement with you.
What If We Need Special Packaging?
Tell us what you need before the order is packed, including any particular materials, carton requirements or packing instructions. We will review your request and confirm the arrangement. Special packaging is charged according to the customer’s requirements; we will provide a quote before proceeding.
Packaging can also affect freight if it changes the size or weight of a shipment. For express and air shipments, carriers may use dimensional weight when calculating charges. FedEx explains how dimensional weight works.
