01 / UNITED STATES CUSTOMER CASE
FROM A TPU SOCCER OUTSOLE
TO A CONFIRMED SHOE SAMPLE
A US customer needed a low-cut soccer shoe for natural grass. An existing blue TPU soccer outsole provided the starting platform; the upper, colors and customer branding were then developed around it. The final sample was confirmed by the customer, and the bulk order is now in production.
The available outsole supplied the established bottom shape, stud layout and tooling base.
The navy, white and neon upper turned the selected soccer outsole into a distinct shoe. The confirmed design is now in bulk production.
THE REQUIREMENT
A complete natural-grass soccer shoe with a controlled development budget.
The customer needed a low-cut soccer shoe for natural grass and wanted to compare an existing outsole route with the cost and timing of new bottom tooling.
THE ROUTE
An existing fixed-stud TPU outsole matched the direction.
The selected outsole already had an established bottom shape, stud layout and mold. Development then focused on last compatibility, the upper, color direction, branding and assembly.
THE RESULT
No new outsole mold—and a confirmed shoe with its own identity.
Navy textured panels, white overlays and bright yellow-green details differentiated the upper. The completed sample was confirmed by the customer, and the bulk order is now in production.
Project performance, test standards, tolerances, mold terms, MOQ and lead time are confirmed against the requirements of each order. An existing mold is suitable only when its shape, size range and construction match the planned shoe.
